  • Click to exand this section1 How to recover my account credentials

    In order to recover your login credentials, please follow the procedure below:

    1. Connect to https://www.eurodns.com/users/forgotPassword
    2. Select the following: "Domain name" and enter a domain name in your EuroDNS account
    3. Enter the code below
    4. Click Reset password

    An email will be sent to you including a link. Please click on the link to confirm and a second email will be sent to you including your login and your password.

  • Click to exand this section2 How to renew my domains

    1. Log on into your EuroDNS account
    2. Go to the menu Domains and click on Renew
    3. Select the tab Renewable domains
    4. Select the domain name, choose the period, click on Add to cart and Confirm
    5. Choose the payment method and fill in the required information
    6. Accept our terms and conditions
    7. Click on Place order

    Important: You will be able to renew your domain(s) 2 months before its expiration date at the earliest. Several renewal reminders will be sent to your account email. Once payment validated, you will receive a renewal confirmation.

  • Click to exand this section3 How to change the nameservers of a domain

    Please follow the steps below to change the name servers of a domain:

    1. Create a name server profile:


    1.1. In your EuroDNS account, click on Account.
    1.2. Click on Name Server Profiles.
    1.3. Click on Add Name Server Profile.
    1.4. Enter the Name Server profile next to Profile Name.
    1.5. Enter the name servers next to Host Name.
    1.6. Click on Save Profile.

    2. Apply a name server profile:


    2.1. In your EuroDNS account, click on Domains.
    2.2. Click on Manage.
    2.3. Click on Manage Domain next to the concerned domain.
    2.4. Click on Update NS.
    2.5. Check the option “my own nameservers” and select the name server profile.
    2.6. Click on Apply to all.
    2.7. Review the settings and click on Review and Payment.
    2.8. Check “I have read and accept EuroDNS terms and conditions”.
    2.9. Click on Place Order.

    Please, note that DNS changes usually need up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the whole Internet.

    After the checkout, you will be able to select your payment method:
    - either by credit card (VISA/Mastercard) through our secured payment system
    - or by credit account if you have enough funds to cover the order/invoice amount

  • Click to exand this section5 How to configure E-mail forwarding

    In order to configure Email forwarding, please follow the procedure below: 

    1. In your EuroDNS account, click on Domains.

    2. Click on Manage.

    3. Click on Manage Domain next to the concerned domain.

    4. Click on Manage Zone.

    5. Click on the tab Mail Forwarding.

    6. In the Add Mail Forwarding drop down menu, select the option for the e-mail forwarding:  Single Rule. Configure the rule and confirm the changes.

    7. Click on confirm, then on Save changes.

    Note: this option is available for domains configured on EuroDNS' name servers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com / ...)

    The Email forwarding function requires the configuration of a given MX record. The configuration is automatically done but since this is a DNS change, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the whole Internet. Please test in 24 hours after configuration.

  • Click to exand this section6 How to set up an URL forwarding for my domain

    In order to configure URL forwarding, please follow the following procedure:

    1. In your EuroDNS account, click on Domains.
    2. Click on Manage.
    3. Click on Manage Domain next to the concerned domain.
    4. Click on Manage Zone.
    5. Click on URL Forwarding, then on Add URL Forwarding.
    6. In the field Host, type the hostname of the source url (e.g. www).
    In the field Forward To, type the destination url (www.example.com) .
    In the field Type,
         - select 'permanent redirect (301)' to display the destination url,
         - select 'in a frame' to display the source url.
    7. Click on Confirm, then on Save Changes.

    Please, note that DNS changes usually need up to 24 hours to propagate throughout the whole Internet.

    Important: This option is only available if the domain is using EuroDNS nameservers (ns1.eurodns.com / ns2.eurodns.com / …).

  • Click to exand this section7 How to make an internal transfer

    An internal transfer describes a domain transfer between two EuroDNS accounts.

    The losing account has to initiate the procedure:

    1. Log on into the EuroDNS account

    2. Go to the menu Domains and click on Internal transfer

    3. Select the tab Transfer out

    4. Click on Initiate an internal transfer out

    5. Select a domain name and type the login of the gaining account

    6. Click on Initiate transfer and Confirm.

    The gaining account must finalize the procedure:

    1. Log on into the EuroDNS account

    2. Go to the menu Domains and click on Internat transfer

    3. Select the tab Transfer In

    4. Accept or refuse the transfer

    After few minutes, the domain will be available in the gaining account’s domain list.

  • Click to exand this section8 How to check my Open-Xchange mailbox using a e-mail client

    You can use your usual Email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail) or wireless device (iPhone, Windows Mobile, Palm...) by configuring the following settings: 

    POP3 Server     pop3.ecloudpanel.com 
    IMAP Server     imap.ecloudpanel.com 
    SMTP Server     smtp.ecloudpanel.com 

    All these servers can be accessed using TLS or default port: 

    POP default port or TLS : 110 
    SMTP default port or TLS : 25 or 587 
    IMAP default port or TLS : 143 

    Note: our outgoing mail server requires authentication. 

    Or you can access your mail in your Internet browser by clicking on the following link: 

    https://webmail.ecloudpanel.com/ox6/ox.html

    Enter the complete email address in the user name field. 

    Enter the password of the mailbox. 

    Click on Login

  • Click to exand this section9 How to update domain contacts

    In order to update domain contacts, please follow the procedure below:

    1. Log on into your EuroDNS account

    2. Go to the menu Domains and click on Manage

    3. Select the domain name

    4. Select option Update contacts in the category Action

    5. Choose the contact profile to apply or create a new one****

    6. Select option Selected contact in the category Scope

    7. Click on Run bulk operation

    8. Click on Review and Payment button

    9. Choose your payment method and fill in the required information

    10. Accept Terms and conditions and click on Place order

    Note: The update process may differ from a TLD to another. Therefore, domain contacts for certain TLDs may not be editable through the EuroDNS platform. In that case, please contact our support for assistance.

    **** In order to create a contact profile, please follow the procedure below:

    1. Log on into your EuroDNS account

    2. Go to the menu Account

    3. Click on Contact profiles

    4. Click on Add contact profile

    5. Fill in the form and click on Save profile

  • Click to exand this section10 How to transfer a domain to EuroDNS

    In order to transfer your domain(s) to Eurodns, please follow the instructions below:

    1. Log on into your EuroDNS account

    2. Go to the menu Domains and click on Transfer

    3. Enter the domain to transfer and click on the Search button

    4. Click on Change setting to select the contact and name servers profiles to apply

    5. Provide the required additional information (auth codes, documents, company registration number…)

    6. Click on Review and payment

    7. Choose your payment method and fill in the required information

    8. Accept our terms and conditions

    9. Click on Place order

    Note for gTLDs (.biz, .com, .info, .mobi .net, .org, etc.):

    - Auth code is required. You can ask it your current registrar.

    - Domain must be unlocked. You can ask it to your current registrar.

    Note for ccTLDs (.de, .cn, .fr, .es, .us, etc.):

    - Auth code is required for some ccTLDs. You can ask it to your current registrar.

    - Additional information is required for some ccTLD, such as company registration number, trademark number, etc.
