Specific Terms and Conditions applicable to the Suggestion Service provided by EuroDNS S.A.

These Specific Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and applied together as a single instrument (the "Agreement"). To the extent that there is a direct conflict between these terms and the General Terms and Conditions, these terms shall prevail. Capitalised terms defined in the General Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning in the Specific Terms and Conditions.

EuroDNS is making available a suggestion tool developed by Verisign Inc. (the “Suggestion Service”), which enables the Customer to enter one or more words describing the intended use of their domain name (the “Domain Name Search Request”) and be presented with matching suggestions of domain names that are currently available for registration (the “Results Data”).

EuroDNS hereby grants to the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable, restricted license to access and use the Suggestion Service solely to: (i) submit Domain Name Search Requests to the Suggestion Service; and (ii) use the Results Data for the sole purpose of registering one or more domain names.

The Customer shall grant to EuroDNS and Verisign an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use, reproduce, and transmit the Domain Name Search Request (including any Personal Data) in connection with: (i) the provision of the Suggestion Service, including, but not limited to, generation of the Results Data; and (ii) the Results Data uses.

The Customer represents, warrants, and agrees that they will: (i) use the Suggestion Service solely for the purpose of identifying and registering domain names, and (ii) NOT use the Service for any other purpose, including but not limited to: (a) rent, lease, sublicense, sell, transfer, assign, redistribute, host, or otherwise commercially exploit the Suggestion Service, or any part thereof; (b) modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, reverse compile, attempt to find the source code of, or reverse engineer any part of, the Suggestion Service; (c) access the Service in order to build a similar or competitive service; (d) except as expressly provided herein, copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, post, display or transmit any part of the Service, including but not limited to, the Results Data; (e) upload, transmit, or distribute any computer viruses, worms, or any software or attempt to gain unauthorized access to interfere with, disable, damage or alter, or disrupt a computer or communication network, handheld device, mobile device, data, any part of the Service, the server(s) on which the Suggestion Service is stored, any server, computer, or database connected to the Suggestion Service, or any other system, device or property; (f) access (or attempt to access) the Suggestion Service by means other than through the website interface that is provided by EuroDNS; (g) remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices (including copyrights and trademark notices); (h) circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with the security or functionality of the Service or of features that enforce limitations on use of the Service; (i) infringe or violate the intellectual property rights or proprietary rights, rights of publicity or privacy, or other rights of any third party; (j) distribute Result data to any third party; (k) violate any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation, including, but not limited to, applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations; or (l) run any processes that interferes with the proper working of the Suggestion Service.

O THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SUGGESTION SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS," "WHERE IS," AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER. EURODNS DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF RESPONSES, PERFORMANCE RESULTS (INCLUDING AVAILABILITY OF DOMAIN NAMES), WORKMANLIKE EFFORT, OR THAT THE SUGGESTION SERVICE WILL BE: (A) FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS; (B) UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE; OR (C) FREE OF OFFENSIVE, INDECENT OR OTHERWISE OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT, OR THAT THE REGISTRATION OF A DOMAIN NAME BASED ON THE DOMAIN NAME SEARCH RESULTS WILL NOT VIOLATE ANY THIRD-PARTY TRADEMARKS OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

By using the Suggestion Service, the Customer expressly agrees that their Domain Name Search Request will be transmitted to:

EuroDNS Privacy Policy governs the processing of all Personal Data collected from the Customer in connection with their use of the Suggestion Service, which may include the date and time of the domain name search query, IP address, geolocation information, together with any other Personal Data contained in any Domain Name Search Request . The Domain Name Search Request is aggregated information and is not linked to any Personal Data (other than information the Customer may have submitted as part of a domain name search (

The Domain Name Search Request collected via the Suggestion Service is used as generally described in EuroDNS Privacy Policy and more specifically to 

• Provide relevant, personalised Domain Name Search Results in response to Domain Name Search Request provided to the Suggestion Service;

• Diagnose problems with and/or improve the Suggestion Service;

• Gather broad, aggregated information to help EuroDNS and Verisign understand end-user interests;

• Improve the performance of the Suggestion Service.

• Validate, modify, enhance and/or improve any of EuroDNS and Verisign’s products, services and/or data, including the Suggestion Service and the Domain Name Search Results; and

• Evaluate if new domain name registrations are completed as a result of the Customer’s use of the Suggestion Service.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EURODNS, VERISIGN, THEIR AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, MEMBERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, SUPPLIERS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS BE LIABLE TO THE CUSTOMER FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING UNDER OR RELATING TO THE SUGGESTION SERVICE OR THESE TERMS (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF BUSINESS, PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER ECONOMIC ADVANTAGE), IN EACH CASE WHETHER BASED ON STATUTE, WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT EURODNS AND/OR VERISIGN IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

EuroDNS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Suggestion Service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to changes in availability, performance issues, regulatory obligations, or termination of its agreement with Verisign. Upon termination, all rights granted to the Customer under these Specific Terms shall immediately cease.
